Fun Island Vibrance At Vallejo's Pista Sa Nayon Festival!
It's FUN fiesta time!  With over 25,000 projected attendees, it will be a true island festival atmosphere. The flavor will be Asian fusion of the lumpia and south seas barbeque variety but culturally and musically splashed with a plethora of Philippine party-oriented groups and individuals.  Vallejo's scenic waterfront will have that aire and vibrance of the old country barrio "pestival" but done in good ol' U.S. of A. fun, flair, pride and sophistication.   More...

Moving Lake County Forward In Tough Economic Times It is no secret that with the decline in the mortgage market and the ever-increasing cost of gasoline, we are living in tough economic times. But, when caring people successfully connect with other caring people, wonderful things can happen - even in tough times like these.  For example, over the years, you have read about the activities of high school and middle school students to bring attention to "Middletown Days."  Students actually created a worldwide buzz for this small town western parade and festival that culmininated in Adam Housley of the Fox News Channel showing up, addressing the crowd and getting the event mentioned on the network.  That was in 2006.  Then, in 2007, the young people impressed KRON 4 TV's "Bay Area Backroads" host Doug McConnell so much he offered to showcase "Middletown Days" on his new venture, Open Road at www.openroad.tv.  (You will not see anything on the site right now about "Middletown Days."  The Middletown Central Park Association has yet to decide what pictures should be sent.)  More...

Wild Dance Explosion At The Summer Sizzlin' Nights! Over a decade ago, it all started with a small Happy Hour party spark then it ignited to a huge party explosion in recent years.  This year, the Cinco de Mayo Feisty Fiesta celebration will again blast the dance festival.  Wild, it'll be!  Year after year, the SF bay area's hottest place every Thursday evening is at the Pleasanton Hilton's Sizzlin' Summer Poolside Party Zone.  Then the vibrant party atmosphere called Thursday Live! moves indoors to nearby ShBoom San Ramon from 8pm til midnight.  The party goes on with an assortment of premiere party bands lined up.  Do come, get it on, dance and live it to the max.   More...
